Frontiers in Natural Environment Research

Welcome to the homepage of the Frontiers in Natural Environment Research conference 2017, jointly hosted by the NERC funded SCENARIO, Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet and London NERC Doctoral Training Patnerships (DTPs).

The Conference will take place on 24th-25th August in London at Imperial College London.

Registration is from 8:30 – 9:00 in the Blackett Building, Imperial College London, South Kensington Campus, London SW7 2AZ. All sessions and workshops will be held here, and there will be on the ground support throughout the conference.  A map to the location of the conference can be downloaded here:Imperial Map

Frontiers in Natural Environment Research will showcase the world-leading work being conducted in each of the DTPs. Key themes of the conference are communication and multidiscipliary research, with PhD students presenting work on topics as diverse as ecology and biology, natural hazards, materials science, renewable energy and the fundamental physics of the atmosphere and climate.

In addition to student presentations, workshops and keynote speakers will be arranged around these two themes, as well as networking and social events taking place over two days.

Students, academics and industrial partners will be in attendance.
